Red, Green & Blue: Islamism’s Reach in American Politics: College Campuses
In case anyone might be interested
If you somehow have not noticed, there is an Islamist reach in American politics that started from the college campuses (and has been for a while). If you have time, you might enjoy this program on Monday, September 23 (see below). I might carve out time from teaching and logging in to this program, and if I do, I will take notes. But maybe other people will be interested as well.
Regarding my sharing - given my recent Substack exchange, I want to underscore that I have no interest in influencing anyone when I share something. I was told “not to pretend” about it, and I take an issue with this term - I do not pretend and pay the price for being true to myself and not being part of any group or groupthink.
I believe in human agency - learning, analyzing, and deciding for oneself. If someone is swayed by my sharing, assuming that it always represents my thinking, I bear no responsibility. I do not believe in proselytizing. Also, I want to reinforce what I said before- I do not believe that there is no distinction between Islam and Islamism and have no intention to blame any religion in toto. Below is about the program on Monday, September 23 Free | Online
