The article referenced above is worth your attention. I am not copying it here (just the link above). I started to feel like a broken record: academy, books, “journalistic” accounts, “confusion” between “antisemitism” and “anti-Zionism.” All areas are infiltrated. And in the meantime, the argument for “social justice” is made with the terms “genocide,” “apartheid,” and “colonialism” appropriated from “postcolonial studies,” a constructed category that goes back to Franz Fanon, Edward Said, and Gayatri Spivak.
This blending of academic terminology with political activism often breeds intentional conflations. The most worrisome part of this “blending” is diluting or distorting important distinctions, which results in a broader ideological agenda infiltrating public understanding.
