Absolutely incredible piece of propaganda writing, right out of the KGB playbook. As though violating campus rules regarding overnight outdoor stays, violently confronting Jewish students, breaking into and occupying university buildings are forms of peaceful protest and free speech.
The attitude projected is, "We are right and therefore have the license to do whatever we want. If we are violating the law, the law is by definition wrong, and you have no right to enforce it."
This shouldn't pass for academics. Unfortunately, those who possess positions in academia hold these views. In truth, it is not academics, but a call for anarchy.
